Our Mission Statement:

The reason for the existence of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene is to enable people to not only know about God, but to also truly know Him in a life-changing experience.

Leadership Team:

The Cornerstone Church board consists of individuals who make decisions that positively impact the growth and involvement of God’s local church.  The board is comprised of the Lead Pastor, Nazarene Missions International President, Secretary, Stewards, Sunday School Superintendent, Treasurer, and Trustees.  We look forward to all that God has in store for Cornerstone Church in 2012!

Luke Douglas, Lead Pastor

By the strength of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Luke presents the Sunday messages in relevant and applicable ways.  In addition, he facilitates the discussion during the Wednesday night Bible studies.  Pastor Luke is serving in his third year as lead pastor of Cornerstone Church.  Pastor Luke and his wife, Amanda, have one son named Gideon.  They enjoy being a part of their Cornerstone Church family!

 

                                               

John & Anna Mae Burkhead

John serves as the Sunday School Superintendent and also teaches the Adult Sunday School class.  Anna Mae is the Nazarene Missions International President and she teaches the Early Elementary Sunday School class.  The Burkheads are tremendous blessings to Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene! 

 

 

 

Wayne & Penney Howell

Wayne is one of two Trustees at Cornerstone Church.  He also helps count the tithes and offerings on Sunday mornings.  Penney is one of three Stewards at Cornerstone Church.  Penney serves as the church treasurer.  The Howells are a special part of the Cornerstone Church family! 

 

 

 

 

Waneta Kelman

Waneta serves as the Secretary at Cornerstone Church.  In addition, she is a “Greeter” on Sunday mornings.  Our church is blessed by Waneta’s devotion and service to Cornerstone Church!         

 

 

                                                                                             

Stuart & Mikki Miller

Stuart is one of two Trustees at Cornerstone Church.  Mikki is one of three Stewards at Cornerstone Church.  Mikki also serves as the Financial Secretary for the church.  Stuart, Mikki, and their children are greatly appreciated for all they do for Cornerstone Church!

 

  

 

 

  

Patsy and Gene Ruger

Patsy is one of three Stewards at Cornerstone Church.  Patsy is also the church custodian and keeps the church property looking beautiful!  Patsy’s husband, Gene, helps maintain the church lawn and clears the parking lot of snow and ice.  The Rugers are dearly loved by their Cornerstone Church family!
